Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
Caeleb Dressel is my biggest inspiration and not just because he and I are competitive swimmers. He is the type of man that I want to be. Caeleb is an olympic swimmer and a world record holder of the 50 freestyle. When looking at swimming, sometimes people only see the end result of what the swimmer does, their race time. What is unseen, is the months or even years of hard work that led up to that moment. Working hard and defying the odds is something that has fueled me in both my education and my career as a swimmer over the past 4 years. Looking at what Caeleb has been able to do, tells me that with patience, work, and a love of the process I can do anything.
